0.60 – 0.75 | Moderate absorption | Offices, classrooms, shared spaces |
0.80 – 0.90 | Excellent absorption | Speech clarity areas – meeting rooms, lecture halls |
0.95 – 1.00 | Maximum absorption | Theatres, studios, music practice rooms |
Tested Acoustic Performance Across Frequencies
DecraSound Polyester Fibre Panels have been independently tested in N.A.T.A-registered laboratories using a reverberation chamber. The table below shows their sound absorption coefficients at different frequencies, based on panel thickness and mounting method.
Results confirm that both 12 mm and 24 mm panels—especially when installed with an air gap—achieve high performance in mid-to-high frequency ranges. This makes them ideal for spaces requiring effective speech clarity and echo reduction.
